We started Little Italy's on August 2nd 1999. Our first location was across the street and we could seat only 36 people, very very small and we were not sure how it was going to go over in this new town, where people did not know us, or about our product. Rick and Rick, Jr. did most of the remodel by themselves. We just knew we wanted to be in a small town like both Rick and myself grew up, the loving feeling that you get from other people in a smaller community. Rick's four out of five kids have always been a part of the store (Unfortunately one is out in California! :) We are so thankful to them for all of their hard work. Some of the pizza's that are on the menu have been created by us with some dead hours in the day. We want to try something new and different, so try, try, try and then WOW, how great is this!! (I think people will order it). On the menu it goes, to see if we have a great idea or need to go back to the drawing board again. We truly believe in putting out a good product at a fair price. (If we won't eat it, then the public won't either). We are so thankful for every day, what we are given by the good Lord, without him, this idea would never have worked. We are also very grateful for the town of Vermillion, for taking us in and making us feel like family!!
